About the Author

Sheryl Hardin is an author, speaker, and award winning poet.  Sheryl’s love of writing takes many forms. She believes that participating in many genres keeps her writing fresh.  As the Director of the Spiritual Writer’s Association she is the Editor of Spiritually Write, an online writer’s journal for those who write from a spiritual point of view.  Sheryl works to inspire other writers to write from their heart because she believes in the importance of writing from a spiritual perspective both for the writer and the reader.  Sheryl lives in Plano, Texas where she serves the Unity Church of Dallas as a Chaplain.  She is most proud of raising her two children who are now successful,, responsible, young adults in their own right.  She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Sheryl was recently included in Who’s Who Among Women Writers in Business 2006-2007 and Who’s Who in International Poetry for 2006.  Her personal focus has been on spirituality and holistic well being for the past 20‑years.  She has long been a student of hands on healing, prayer, and meditation.  Sheryl has a strong interest in medical anthropology, the study of ancient healing practices because of her great respect for indigenous peoples and cultures.

Sheryl is looking forward to the publication of her first non-fiction book, Contacting God – The Path to God through Prayer while she is writing the sequel to her last novel, Into Nothing.  She knows she has something valuable to say and she is sure now is the time to say it.
